Heavy overcast holding through the day, with light air out of the S and pressure going nowhere. Most of the action on Lac Dame should come off reed fringes and open pockets. The numbers single out the night. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. The pre-winter feed makes autumn days generous.

Lac Dame lies in Outaouais, Quebec. Elevation runs to 158 metres. It measures about 97 hectares, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. On our Outaouais list it sits near the top for size. Val-des-Monts lies 3.5 km from the water. Further out sit Wakefield (16 km) and Cantley (16 km). The county line is nowhere near, so one local authority covers the water.
Nothing we hold settles how deep this runs. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Survey and observation records for Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass and rainbow smelt. County records show what lives in the area; the local agency holds the water-by-water list. At Lac Dame the water rewards a slow, careful approach.
Climate records put July near 19°C and January near -13°C. Spring and autumn carry the fishing; summer and winter test it. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly late April. The season between ice runs from about late April to early December. Spring is short and heavy here; autumn is longer and steadier. It sets the rhythm of the year at Lac Dame.
Nothing we hold confirms whether access is permitted. Public mapping records no formal access here, so plan for a walk and soft ground. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Ask in the nearest town if you are unsure. Where the way in crosses private ground, ask first. Should this one be busy, Lac aux Chutes is 0.7 km off. Signs at Lac Dame carry more weight than any list.
