No direct sun expected today, with light air out of the S and pressure going nowhere. The productive water at Lac Breslon will be around the shaded margin through bright spells. Save your energy for the night. Work the productive water thoroughly. Cooling water has fish active and on the move.

Lac Breslon belongs to Laurentides, Quebec. It lies 209 metres above sea level. This is a pocket water of some 6 hectares, and every part of it is reachable from the bank. It lies lower than most water we list in Quebec. The closest town, Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel, is 29 km away. The big place round here is Orléans, 72 km distant. No boundary runs near, so the local rules hold throughout.
No published figure covers depth, so learn it as you fish. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Open biodiversity records for Laurentides list pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, brook trout and rock bass. The list covers the county rather than this water alone, so treat it as a guide. Lac Breslon responds to conditions more than to tactics.
Averages here run 18°C at the top of summer and -14°C at the bottom of winter. A hard winter is normal, and the thaw brings a strong few weeks. Once it clears, about late April, the fishing comes on quickly. The lid tends to go about late April and return around late November. From the thaw to midsummer the fishing improves week by week. Plan around that when you fish Lac Breslon.
We have no record of the rules that apply on this bank. Nothing built is recorded close to the bank here. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Where the road in crosses private land, ask first. Signs go up and come down, so check on the day. Should this one be busy, Lac Trouve is 0.5 km off. For Lac Breslon in particular, ask before you travel.
