Flat light and a covered sky today, with just enough SSW wind to ripple the surface with a settled glass. Most of the action on Lac Adele should come off reed fringes and open pockets. Expectations low today; if anything moves, it will be in the morning. Fish the best hour hard and keep the rest short.

Lac Adele falls in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, part of Quebec. The bank is 365 metres above sea level. Surface area is around 15 hectares, which gives you real water without needing a boat. With about 2.7 km of edge, you can try several depths in one session. You are 109 km from Senneterre. After that come Val-d'Or at 111 km and Saint-Boniface at 122 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
No depth figure appears in our records, so the bank has to tell you. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Species logged across Abitibi-Témiscamingue include northern pike, yellow perch, walleye, white sucker and brown bullhead. These are county-wide records, so not all of them will be in this water. The shape of Lac Adele decides where the fish sit.
Climate normals give 17°C for July and -17°C for January. Little of the calendar is open water, so timing counts for everything. Hard water holds through the cold months, breaking up near early May. The water is typically free of ice between early May and mid November. June through September is the settled part of the year, with the shoulders busier for fish. Lac Adele runs to its own calendar within the local pattern.
No access rule appears in what we hold. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. Nothing built is recorded close to the bank here. For the pike, wire up and throw larger lures along the weed edges. Read any posted signs at the access point rather than assuming. Where tickets apply, they are sold in the nearest town rather than on the bank. Lac Carpocapse at 0.6 km is the sensible second choice. Nothing here settles the position at Lac Adele for certain.
