Clear overhead with good moonlight, with a helpful ripple pushed from the NW with the glass holding level. Most of the action on Young's Lake should come off structure within a cast of the bank. A hard day on paper; the night edges the rest. Scale down and fish slowly. The pre-winter feed makes autumn days generous.

Young's Lake is a Sudbury water, Ontario side. The bank is 230 metres above sea level. Surface area is around 33 hectares, which gives you real water without needing a boat. Bank access stretches around 4.5 km in total. It lies lower than most water we list in Ontario. For supplies, Espanola is 7.6 km out. Little Current is 35 km and Dowling 52 km. The nearest boundary is well away, so one set of rules covers the water.
Depth here is unknown, so count the lead down before committing. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Records held for Sudbury cover smallmouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, Iowa darter and walleye. Those are county-wide records, so not every one of them will be in this water. On Young's Lake the first feature you find is usually worth a session.
Climate records put July near 18°C and January near -12°C. A solid cap is the normal state through winter. Firm cover through the cold months, then open water from late April. Open water usually runs from late April until about early December. The first weeks of open water and the last are the ones to plan for. On Young's Lake the same rules apply, with local timing.
Public data does not answer the access question here. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. Nothing is mapped in the way of a ramp or car park within a short radius. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Take the rules with you rather than trusting memory. Close seasons apply to some species and not others. The nearest alternative is Maville Lake, 5 km out. The position on Young's Lake is worth confirming on the day.
