A clear night sky over the water, with a decent WNW wind working the banks with the barometer flat. Fish at White Creek should hold close to deeper glides between riffles. Plan around the stretch from the day. Keep moving until you find them. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

White Creek falls in Frontenac County, part of Ontario. The surface lies 165 metres up. By elevation it sits in the lower part of our Ontario listings. Head to Sharbot Lake, 20 km away, for anything you forgot. Sharpton/Glenvale is 30 km and Elginburg/Silvers Corners/Shannons Corners 32 km. It lies deep inside the county rather than near an edge.
No chart reached our records; the first cast is your sounding. Gravel runs and silted pools fish quite differently, so treat them apart. The head and tail of a pool beat the body of it. Frontenac County records list pumpkinseed, bluegill, rock bass, smallmouth bass and yellow perch among the fish reported. Records at this level tell you what is in the area. On White Creek the quiet end is the one worth the extra effort.
Between January at about -10°C and July at about 20°C, the water has a wide range to work through. Seasons are distinct, and each one fishes differently. Winter narrows this to the open runs; full flow returns around mid April. The open-water window runs from around mid April to about early December in an average year. The middle of summer slows a little, with dawn and dusk carrying it. On White Creek the same rules apply, with local timing.
Whether the bank is open is not something our records settle. Mapping shows an empty shoreline: no ramp, no jetty, no marked entry. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Read any posted signs at the access point rather than assuming. Where parking is tight, arriving early solves most problems. Jeffs Lake sits 2.4 km off and takes the overflow. For White Creek, the notice at the access point is the final word.
