• Where to Fish on Kaye Lake

  No chart reached our records; the first cast is your sounding. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. County-wide records name smallmouth bass, pumpkinseed, yellow perch and northern pike. Species recorded across the county may be limited to a few waters. On Kaye Lake the obvious spot is not always the productive one.
