Overcast skies today, with a decent WSW wind working the banks and the barometer holding steady. Whatever swims in Corbier Lake should be near the weed line and any gaps in it. The day peaks in the evening. Take the steady approach over the searching one. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.

Corbier Lake is a Parry Sound District water, Ontario side. The country here is mixed forest. Roughly 20 hectares: a morning covers one end, an afternoon the other. The full circuit measures close to 3.2 km on foot. It is low-lying compared with other Ontario water we list. Parry Sound lies 16 km from the water. After that come Penetanguishene at 49 km and Bracebridge at 53 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Fish documented in Parry Sound District include smallmouth bass, pumpkinseed and yellow perch. Those are county-wide records, so not every one of them will be in this water. Work Corbier Lake in sections rather than trying to cover it.
Between January at about -9°C and July at about 19°C, the water has a wide range to work through. Winter shuts things down for a spell, then spring reopens them fast. The lid usually sets by midwinter and gives way around mid April. Going by climate averages, expect open water from about mid April until roughly early December. May into June fishes hardest, and September gives a second good stretch before the lid returns. The season on Corbier Lake follows the weather closely.
We hold no note on access for this one. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. Nothing is listed nearby for parking or launching a boat. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Parking is often the real limit rather than the bank itself. Where the way in crosses private ground, ask first. If the gate is shut, Traves Lake at 1.3 km is the nearest alternative. Signs at Corbier Lake carry more weight than any list.
