Cloud coming and going through the night, with enough SW wind to stack food downwind with the glass holding level. Whatever swims in Duo Via Lake should be near points where shallow meets deep. A slow day overall; the evening is the best of a quiet lot. Lower the pace and stay patient.

Duo Via Lake is set in Regional District of Central Okanagan, British Columbia. Height above sea level is 1,395 metres. It covers about 6 hectares, so this is small water you can walk round in under an hour. The nearest town is Lake Country, 21 km away. For a city, Kelowna is 26 km off. The nearest boundary is well away, so one set of rules covers the water.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Reported across Regional District of Central Okanagan: sockeye salmon, rainbow trout, common carp, largescale sucker and goldfish. At least one recorded species is protected in parts of its range; read the local rules before targeting anything. The shape of Duo Via Lake decides where the fish sit.
Long-term averages put August at about 14°C and January near -8°C. Cold winters and warm summers give a wide working range. Winter fishing happens on the ice here, with open water back around mid April. Expect the water usable from around mid April until roughly mid November. June through September is the settled part of the year, with the shoulders busier for fish. Time your trip to Duo Via Lake by conditions rather than dates.
The access position is unclear from public sources. Formal access is not mapped, so the last stretch is likely on foot. Light line and small metal for the trout; a fly rod earns its place on calm evenings. Check whether a boat is allowed before you tow one. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. Big Horn Reservoir, 2.6 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Rules at Duo Via Lake are worth checking on the day.
