Crowston Lake near Halfmoon Bay: Fishing Spots, Seasons and Access

• Where to Fish on Crowston Lake

  There is no published depth for this one, so start shallow and work out. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Records held for Sunshine Coast Regional District cover Chum salmon, Coho salmon, pink salmon and sockeye salmon. Several of these carry legal protection or closed seasons; the rulebook comes before the rod. On Crowston Lake the obvious spot is not always the productive one.
