Rain on and off through the day, with mild air moving in from the SSE with pressure climbing. Activity on Enos Lake should centre on reed fringes and open pockets. A tough forecast; the middle of the day offers the only real chance. Keep baits small and presentations quiet. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.

Enos Lake belongs to Teton County, Wyoming. The bank is 7,815 feet above sea level. With some 199 acres of water, there is room for a boat but no need of one. Around 2.8 miles of margin, front to back. Size puts it in the front rank of our Teton County list. Jackson is the closest town at 43 miles. Moose Wilson Road lies 44 miles off, Wilson another 46 miles. The nearest edge is a long way off, so local rules apply throughout.
Nothing we hold settles how deep this runs. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. Fish documented in Teton County include mountain whitefish, lake trout, Utah sucker and brown trout. County records show what lives in the area; the local agency holds the water-by-water list. Work Enos Lake in sections rather than trying to cover it.
On the long-term average, July reads 52°F and December reads 14°F. Winter closes the water for a while, and the reopening is worth catching. Expect a solid lid for months and a thaw around mid May. From about mid May to around early November, expect open water on the long-run figures. June through September is the settled part of the year, with the shoulders busier for fish. That shapes the year on Enos Lake.
The rules here are undocumented as far as public sources go. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. There is no mapped parking or launch close by, which usually means walking in. Light line and small metal for the trout; a fly rod earns its place on calm evenings. State or provincial rules still apply whatever the bank status. Where the way in crosses private ground, ask first. Divide Lake, 3 miles away, makes the obvious fallback. Confirm before you fish Enos Lake.
