Drifting cloud with clear gaps tonight, with mild air moving in from the NNW with the barometer flat. Whatever swims in Breaker Lake should be near shallow cover and weed edges. Plan around the stretch from the day. Keep moving until you find them. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Breaker Lake sits in Pacific County, out in Washington. Height above sea level is 26 feet. This is a pocket water of some 7 acres, and every part of it is reachable from the bank. It is low-lying compared with other Washington water we list. Head to Long Beach, 1.9 miles away, for anything you forgot. Ocean Park follows at 7.8 miles, then Warrenton at 16 miles. No county line comes close, which keeps the paperwork simple.
No depth figure appears in our records, so the bank has to tell you. Time trips to the tide table rather than the clock here. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. Pacific County records list Chinook salmon, yellow perch, largemouth bass, Coho salmon and American shad among the fish reported. Several of these carry legal protection or closed seasons; the rulebook comes before the rod. Breaker Lake fishes better once you know its edges.
The warm month here averages 60°F; the cold one sits at 43°F. Some winters cap it and some do not. It is not guaranteed even in a cold spell, so check yourself. The hot months push the fishing to dawn and dusk. Anyone fishing Breaker Lake regularly works to that calendar. Wind on the bank for a day or two lifts the fishing there.
Public data does not answer the access question here. Parking is not close: half a mile from the bank, and no nearer option is mapped. Fishing from a pier is possible half a mile away. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Sort the permit out before you load the car. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. If the gate is shut, Deer Lake at 0.4 miles is the nearest alternative. For Breaker Lake, the notice at the access point is the final word.
