A clean, cloudless night over the water, with an easy breeze from the ENE as pressure builds. Give the calm side of the wind the first hour at Reservoir Number Two. Plan around the stretch from afternoon into evening. Keep moving until you find them. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Reservoir Number Two falls in Parker County, part of Texas. This is open plain country. Roughly 333 acres of surface: treat each bay as a water in its own right. Few waters listed in Parker County are bigger. For supplies, Springtown is 12 miles out. Runaway Bay follows at 13 miles, then Weatherford at 17 miles. A county line runs close by, so local bylaws can differ within a short drive.
Depth went unrecorded, which puts the reading back on you. Rip-rap along the wall holds fish that the open bank never does. Look for where the old bank line still shows under the surface. Open occurrence data for the surrounding area lists green sunfish, black bullhead, black crappie, yellow bullhead and bluegill. It reflects what has been logged, which depends on who was looking. Read Reservoir Number Two before you fish it and the day goes better.
Expect July to average close to 83°F, with January the cold end at about 43°F. Fishing runs all year, with summer the awkward season. Spring and autumn carry the fishing; summer squeezes it into the edges of the day. Late winter often fishes better here than midsummer does. Plan any trip to Reservoir Number Two around it.
The access position is unclear from public sources. Nothing built is recorded close to the bank here. For the catfish, fish bottom baits into the deeper holes and let them sit. Season dates differ by species, so read the table. Keep proof of licence with you rather than in the car. Reservoir Number One, 1.5 miles away, makes the obvious fallback. Confirm before you fish Reservoir Number Two.
