A grey, even sky over the water, with a persistent wind from the NW and pressure leaking away. Most of the action on Rush Run should come off deeper glides between riffles. The day fishes best from night into morning. Fish confidently and change only when the bites stop. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.
