Blue sky from bank to bank today, with a whisper of wind from the WSW and a falling glass. Activity on Reflection Lake should centre on the seam between weed and open water. A long productive spell runs afternoon into evening. Make the first hour count and build on it. The season of moving fish: stay mobile and watch for bait.

Oregon holds Reflection Lake, in Klamath County. What surrounds it is mixed woodland. This is a pocket water of some 2 acres, and every part of it is reachable from the bank. It is one of the smaller waters we list in Klamath County. Nearest town is Oakridge, 25 miles off. Eugene sits 62 miles out, and it is the nearest city worth the name. One jurisdiction covers this water end to end.
Depth here is unknown, so count the lead down before committing. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Fish documented in Klamath County include rainbow trout, klamath largescale sucker, brook trout, yellow perch and sockeye salmon. At least one recorded species is protected in parts of its range; read the local rules before targeting anything. At Reflection Lake the water rewards a slow, careful approach.
The range across the year is 27°F to 56°F. Most months fish reasonably, given the right weather. It is not guaranteed from one year to the next. February into May fishes hardest as the water warms. On Reflection Lake the same rules apply, with local timing. Long dry spells drop the level and concentrate them.
The rules here are undocumented as far as public sources go. There is a car park at Diamond Peak South Trailhead, roughly half a mile away. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Rules for this water may differ from the county norm. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. If the gate is shut, Alpine Lake at 0.2 miles is the nearest alternative. Treat Reflection Lake as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
