Old Canal Fishing in North Carolina

Hard light and clear air over the water, with just enough SW wind to ripple the surface with a softening glass. Start the search at Old Canal along the tail-outs as light fades. Plan around the stretch from afternoon into evening. Change depth before you change anything else. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.
