Solem Lake near Barnesville: Fishing Spots, Seasons and Access

• Overview

  The Clay County end of Minnesota holds Solem Lake. The water sits 1,243 feet up. At about 68 acres, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly. Some 8 miles away sits Barnesville, the nearest settlement. After that come Pelican Rapids at 10 miles and Hawley at 15 miles. The line between counties passes nearby, which can change who manages the water.

• Where to Fish on Solem Lake
