  Crooked Lake is one of the Cass County listings for Minnesota. It sits at 1,329 feet above sea level. With some 47 acres of water, there is room for a boat but no need of one. Shoreline comes to about 1.5 miles, small enough to learn in a day. Pequot Lakes is the closest town at 20 miles. Crosslake lies 22 miles off, Breezy Point another 22 miles.   Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest.
