A closed sky with even light today, with enough WNW wind to stack food downwind and no real change in pressure. Fish at Echo Lake should hold close to the margins and the shelf beyond them. If you must go, go in the morning. Treat it as a scouting trip with a rod in hand. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.
