• Where to Fish on Blasingame Brake

There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Nearby survey and observation records mention black crappie, spotted gar, goldstripe darter, largemouth bass and redear sunfish. Reporting is uneven, so absence from the list means little. • Tackle & Baits

The access position is unclear from public sources. Nothing formal is recorded here: no ramp, no car park, no marked path. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Local rules can differ across the county line, so check where you stand. Some ground is open by custom rather than by right, so tread carefully. If the gate is shut, Hamilton Lake at 1.9 miles is the nearest alternative.
