Hard light and clear air over the water, with a helpful ripple pushed from the ENE with a softening glass. The productive water at Bryant Lake will be around the first drop-off and weed lines. The useful hours run night into morning. Trust the forecast and stay out through the window. The pre-winter feed makes autumn days generous.

Night
Set in Troup County, Georgia, this is Bryant Lake. Open plain runs right down to the water. At 24 acres it is the sort of place you fish for an evening rather than a day. On our Troup County list it sits near the top for size. LaGrange at 3 miles is the nearest place to stop. Beyond it, Hogansville at 12 miles and Pine Mountain at 13 miles. No border sits close enough to matter.
Depth remains unrecorded, so treat the first session as a survey. The arms fish better than the open middle whenever the water is up. Points where the flooded channel swings in are the reliable ones. Nearby survey and observation records mention bluegill, blackbanded darter and largemouth bass. Records show what people reported, not what is stocked. On Bryant Lake the obvious spot is not always the productive one.
July runs about 79°F on average, January about 43°F. Warm months push fish deep; cool months bring them back. Shade and hour of day matter more than month. June to September is hot work, so the first and last hours are what count. On Bryant Lake the same rules apply, with local timing.
Our records carry no access rule either way. The closest car park is half a mile away, so pack accordingly. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. A phone call first saves an afternoon. Keep proof of licence with you rather than in the car. Ridley Lake at 0.7 miles is the sensible second choice. Confirm before you fish Bryant Lake.
