Jalpa Fishing in Estado de Guanajuato

Dull, settled light over the water, with almost no wind to speak of and a rising glass. Expect most activity at Jalpa around sheltered bays and points. Expect the better fishing from morning through afternoon. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.
