An even grey lid over the water, with a kind S breeze on the water and pressure sitting still. Give structure within a cast of the bank the first hour at Neckarquelle. The day fishes best from morning through afternoon. Fish confidently and change only when the bites stop. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.
