A closed sky with even light today, with flat calm through the day and no real change in pressure. On Lac Yvon, work shallow cover and weed edges first. A stay-home graph, with the middle of the day as the one excuse to go. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water. Falling temperatures are switching fish back on.

Lac Yvon is set in Côte-Nord, Quebec. It sits at 369 metres above sea level. About 6 hectares of surface, which puts the far bank inside easy sight. On size it sits at the modest end of our Côte-Nord list. For a base, Forestville sits 73 km out. Then Betsiamites, 81 km, and Chute-aux-Outardes, 91 km. Within a short drive: Lac Deguise within 0.6 km, Lac Fillion 1.9 km, Lac Lowe within 2.2 km, Lac Provost 2.2 km and Lac Haberl within 2.4 km. There is no boundary nearby to worry about.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Weed, then depth: that is the order to fish a water of this kind. Across Côte-Nord, recorded fish include logperch. Those are county-wide records, so not every one of them will be in this water. At Lac Yvon the first feature you find is worth twenty minutes.
Typical July readings run about 16°C; by January the average is down near -18°C. This is a two-season water: locked, then wide open. Hard cover is dependable here; it goes around early May. Expect the water usable from around early May until roughly mid November. May into June fishes hardest, and September gives a second good stretch before the lid returns. On Lac Yvon the same rules apply, with local timing.
Nothing in our records says who may fish here. Access is unmapped, which usually means a farm track and a walk. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Take the rules with you rather than trusting memory. A polite question at the farm gate opens more banks than anything else. Lac Deguise at 0.6 km is the sensible second choice. What applies at Lac Yvon may have changed since it was mapped.
