A rainy spell sitting over the area, with light air out of the SSW and pressure sitting still. Give points where shallow meets deep the first hour at Lac Tintin. Numbers are low everywhere; the middle of the day is the pick of them. Take the small wins and call it early if it dies. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.

Lac Tintin sits within Côte-Nord in Quebec. Land around it is northern bush. It measures about 32 hectares, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. There is roughly 2.8 km of shoreline here, which is a short walk end to end. Port-Cartier lies 47 km from the water. Then Sept-Îles, 48 km, and Saint-Alexandre, 48 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
Our records carry no depth, so judge it from the bank. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Public occurrence data for Côte-Nord names logperch. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. Lac Tintin gives up more to patience than to distance.
On the long-term average, July reads 15°C and January reads -17°C. Ice holds for a long stretch, so the open weeks matter more here than further south. Count the season from break-up, usually early May. The season between ice runs from about early May to mid November. May into June fishes hardest, and September gives a second good stretch before the lid returns. Lac Tintin runs to its own calendar within the local pattern.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. No built facilities appear in mapping around this water. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Where access is informal, keep it that way by behaving. A polite question at the farm gate opens more banks than anything else. Failing this one, try Lac Caniche, 1.4 km away. Check the position at Lac Tintin before loading the car.
