Soft grey light all day today, with enough S wind to stack food downwind and pressure sitting still. Activity on Lac Therese should centre on the margins and the shelf beyond them. A stay-home graph, with the night as the one excuse to go. Save the long walk for a better forecast. Falling temperatures are switching fish back on.

Côte-Nord in Quebec is where Lac Therese sits. It stands 114 metres above sea level. It lies lower than most water we list in Quebec. Start from Havre-Saint-Pierre, 48 km down the road. Sydney sits 482 km out, and it is the nearest city worth the name. Not far off: 2.8 km away is Lac Collard, Lac Menier a shade over 7.9 km, 8.4 km away is Lac Calme, Lac Rodgers a shade over 9 km and 9 km away is Petit lac Long. There is no boundary nearby to worry about.
Our records carry no depth, so judge it from the bank. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Species logged across Côte-Nord include logperch. It is the county picture; the agency list is water-specific. On Lac Therese the quiet end is the one worth the extra effort.
Averages here run 16°C at the top of summer and -12°C at the bottom of winter. The season turns properly here, and fish follow it closely. The lid usually sets by midwinter and gives way around early May. Average temperatures cross freezing around early May in spring and again near late November in autumn. May into June fishes hardest, and September gives a second good stretch before the lid returns. That is the shape of the year on Lac Therese.
There is no clear statement anywhere on who can fish it. Formal access is not mapped, so the last stretch is likely on foot. Perch take small lures and worms fished near the bottom close to structure. Take the rules with you rather than trusting memory. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. Lac Collard, 2.8 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Treat Lac Therese as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
