A closed sky with even light today, with a helpful ripple pushed from the S and steady pressure. Whatever swims in Lac Tallulah should be near the first drop-off and weed lines. The numbers single out the night. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Lac Tallulah lies in Outaouais, in Quebec. Height above sea level is 301 metres. With some 22 hectares of water, there is room for a boat but no need of one. The bank runs about 2.5 km all the way round, so one visit can cover most of it. Some 6.4 km away sits Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel, the nearest settlement. The big place round here is Orléans, 74 km distant. The nearest edge is a long way off, so local rules apply throughout.
Depth is not on record here, so the bank has to tell you. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. County-wide records name pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. What holds for the county may not hold for this water. Treat Lac Tallulah as a water to read rather than to cover.
July is the warm end of the year here, averaging about 18°C, while January sits near -14°C. Four clear seasons, with a proper winter at one end. Winter locks it down, and late April brings it back. On the long-run averages the water opens up around late April and starts locking again about late November. Early summer and early autumn carry the open-water season. On Lac Tallulah the same rules apply, with local timing.
Our records carry no access rule either way. This is a natural basin, not a dammed one. No made access appears within a short radius, so plan to park on a verge and walk. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Provincial rules still apply whatever the bank status. Check whether bait restrictions apply before you buy any. For a change of water, Petit lac Vert is 0.8 km distant. Signs at Lac Tallulah carry more weight than any list.
