A clean, cloudless night over the water, with flat calm through the day and pressure sitting still. The water to cover at Lac Stove Pipe Gulch is any hard bottom among the soft. If you pick one session, make it the night. Change depth before you change anything else. Fish follow the bait in autumn, so find one to find the other.
