Dull, settled light over the water, with a whisper of wind from the SSW with the glass holding level. Start the search at Lac Sino along the weed line and any gaps in it. Quiet conditions all day, with the night marginally better. Save the long walk for a better forecast. The pre-winter feed makes autumn days generous.

Look for Lac Sino in Outaouais, Quebec. It sits in rolling bush. The water measures roughly 8 hectares, so nothing here is far from anything else. Maniwaki at 28 km is the nearest place to stop. Beyond it, Saint-Boniface at 28 km and Saint-Raphaël at 30 km. Others within reach: Lac Lament lies 0.8 km on, Lac Tage 1 km off, Lac Saba lies 2.1 km on, Lac Archibald 2.6 km off and Lac Raymond lies 2.7 km on. The nearest boundary is a fair way off.
No figure exists for depth, so let the water show you. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Fish documented in Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. County records show the wider picture rather than this one place. On Lac Sino the obvious spot is not always the productive one.
Long-term averages put July at about 18°C and January near -14°C. Winter puts a hard lid on this one. Look for the thaw near late April; the fishing lifts straight after. The open-water window runs from around late April to about late November in an average year. Fish feed hardest at the start and the close of the open season. Lac Sino runs to its own calendar within the local pattern.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. No launch point is recorded nearby, so this is a bank water unless you carry a boat in. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Check locally before you travel, because a wasted drive is a long one. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. The nearest alternative is Lac Lament, 0.8 km out. Treat access at Lac Sino as something to verify.
