Heavy overcast holding through the day, with flat calm through the day and pressure sitting still. Fish at Lac Sete should hold close to shallow cover and weed edges. The numbers single out the morning. Fish confidently and change only when the bites stop. Falling temperatures are switching fish back on.

Lac Sete falls in Lanaudière, part of Quebec. It sits at 521 metres above sea level. It sits higher than most water we list in Quebec. The nearest town is Saint-Michel-des-Saints, 27 km away. Sainte-Béatrix lies 31 km off, Saint-Jean-de-Matha another 32 km. Other water within reach: Deuxieme lac Lincourt out at 0.5 km, Premier lac Lincourt 0.5 km away, Lac Breze out at 1.4 km, Petit lac Breze 1.5 km away and Petit lac Coubras out at 1.7 km. It lies deep inside the county rather than near an edge.
Depth here is unknown, so count the lead down before committing. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Across Lanaudière, recorded fish include pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass and yellow perch. County records show the wider picture rather than this one place. Lac Sete fishes better once you know its edges.
Expect July to average close to 17°C, with January the cold end at about -15°C. A full turn of seasons, with the strongest sport on either side of summer. The open season starts with the thaw, near enough early May. Ice clears near early May and comes back about late November in a typical year. The middle of summer slows a little, with dawn and dusk carrying it. Lac Sete runs to its own calendar within the local pattern.
No public source sets out the position on this bank. Public mapping records no formal access here, so plan for a walk and soft ground. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Check whether a boat is allowed before you tow one. Close seasons apply to some species and not others. Deuxieme lac Lincourt, 0.5 km away, makes the obvious fallback. The position on Lac Sete is worth confirming on the day.
