A mixed sky through the night, with barely a breath of wind with a settled glass. Start the search at Lac Reviers along inflow corners and shaded margins. A grinding day likely, with the night worth the effort if any is. Save the long walk for a better forecast. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.

In Quebec, Lac Reviers falls inside Abitibi-Témiscamingue. It sits at 346 metres above sea level. This is a pocket water of some 8 hectares, and every part of it is reachable from the bank. For a base, Val-d'Or sits 73 km out. Beyond it, Malartic at 83 km and Barraute at 110 km. It sits well inside the county, so one set of rules covers it.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Across Abitibi-Témiscamingue, recorded fish include northern pike, yellow perch, walleye and white sucker. Records at this level tell you what is in the area. On Lac Reviers a short move beats a long cast.
Between January at about -16°C and July at about 17°C, the water has a wide range to work through. The year runs cold to warm and back, with clear transitions. Count on hard cover from midwinter, and open water from early May. On average, early May opens the water and late November closes it again. Reckon on open water from spring through to late autumn, with May and June the strongest. The season on Lac Reviers rarely departs from it.
We hold no note on access for this one. Public mapping records no formal access here, so plan for a walk and soft ground. For the pike, wire up and throw larger lures along the weed edges. Look for a notice board at the entrance. Where the way in crosses private ground, ask first. Lac Eponge sits 1.1 km off and takes the overflow. What applies at Lac Reviers may have changed since it was mapped.
