A closed sky with even light today, with a helpful ripple pushed from the S and no real change in pressure. Most of the action on Lac Real Bis should come off points where shallow meets deep. A slow day overall; the evening is the best of a quiet lot. Lower the pace and stay patient.

Côte-Nord in Quebec is where Lac Real Bis sits. It sits at 582 metres above sea level. The water covers some 19 hectares, so pick a bank rather than trying to cover it all. The edge runs 2.4 km or so, easy to work in an afternoon. By elevation it is in the upper part of our Quebec listings. The nearest town is Saint-Honoré, 106 km away. Then Saint-Fulgence, 109 km, and Saint-Ambroise, 113 km. No county line comes close, which keeps the paperwork simple.
Depth here is unknown, so count the lead down before committing. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. County-wide records name logperch. What holds for the county may not hold for this water. Lac Real Bis gives up more to patience than to distance.
On the long-term average, July reads 16°C and January reads -19°C. Open water arrives late and leaves early, which concentrates the fishing. Break-up comes around early May, and the run that follows is short and strong. Expect the water usable from around early May until roughly mid November. Look to early summer and the first cool weeks of autumn. That is the shape of the year on Lac Real Bis.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. Public mapping records no formal access here, so plan for a walk and soft ground. Perch take small lures and worms fished near the bottom close to structure. Where the road in crosses private land, ask first. Where tickets apply, they are sold in the nearest town rather than on the bank. Lac du Quota at 0.9 km is the sensible second choice. For Lac Real Bis in particular, ask before you travel.
