A rainy spell sitting over the area, with a light S breeze with the barometer flat. Expect most activity at Lac Quinn around the shallows early and the drop later. The day peaks in the night. Cover water early, then settle where the signs are. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.

Lac Quinn is one of the Outaouais waters in Quebec. It sits at 233 metres above sea level. About 4.29 sq km, so local knowledge or a boat saves a lot of walking. Around 23 km of bank, which is a long day on foot. Size puts it in the front rank of our Outaouais list. Saint-Boniface at 19 km is the nearest place to stop. The big place round here is Gatineau, 111 km distant. Two sets of local rules meet not far from this water.
Open data we checked carries no depth for this water. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. County-wide records name pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, rainbow smelt and Iowa darter. Those are county-wide records, so not every one of them will be in this water. Read Lac Quinn before you fish it and the day goes better.
Expect July near 18°C and January near -14°C on the long-run figures. Expect a real winter and a strong spring after it. Break-up comes around late April, and the run that follows is short and strong. The season between ice runs from about late April to late November. Fish feed hardest at the start and the close of the open season. Lac Quinn runs to its own calendar within the local pattern.
Nothing in our records says who may fish here. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. Public mapping records no formal access here, so plan for a walk and soft ground. Provincial rules still apply whatever the bank status. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. For a change of water, Petit lac a Foin is 0.9 km distant. Treat Lac Quinn as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
