Stars out and no cloud tonight, with a helpful ripple pushed from the WNW and pressure sitting still. Fish at Lac Pourri should hold close to any hard bottom among the soft. Save your energy for the middle of the day. Stay patient; middling days often turn late. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.

Lac Pourri is one of the Capitale-Nationale listings for Quebec. Tidal water begins 29 km from here. Small enough that any disturbance crosses the whole surface. It is one of the smaller waters we list in Capitale-Nationale. Some 17 km away sits Saint-Raymond, the nearest settlement. Further out sit Saint-Ubalde (25 km) and Saint-Marc-des-Carrières (27 km). It sits well inside its county, with no border complications.
No depth figure appears in our records, so the bank has to tell you. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Species logged across Capitale-Nationale include lake sturgeon, Atlantic sturgeon and longnose sucker. Protected fish appear in the records for this area, so treat the list as information, not an invitation. Lac Pourri gives up its fish to patience rather than distance.
Long-run averages give July about 18°C and January about -15°C. Cold locks it up for a good stretch each year. Ice-out usually falls in late April, and the weeks after it fish hardest. The water is typically free of ice between late April and late November. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. Lac Pourri fishes to that pattern most years.
The access position is unclear from public sources. Nothing in the way of made access shows up nearby: no ramp, no car park, no path. For walleye, a jig and minnow near the bottom is the standard; evenings beat middays. Look for a notice board at the entrance. A polite question at the farm gate opens more banks than anything else. Failing this one, try Premier lac Philosore, 1 km away. Rules at Lac Pourri are worth checking on the day.
