Overcast skies today, with just enough SSW wind to ripple the surface and steady pressure. The productive water at Lac Pink will be around bays that hold the day's warmth. A long productive spell runs night into morning. Make the first hour count and build on it. The pre-winter feed makes autumn days generous.

Lac Pink is one of the Outaouais waters in Quebec. The water sits 166 metres up. It measures about 11 hectares, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. The edge runs 1.8 km or so, easy to work in an afternoon. It is low-lying compared with other Quebec water we list. Supplies mean a trip to Chelsea, 4.1 km off. Then Le Plateau, 4.3 km, and Saint-Alexandre, 5.9 km. This one sits near enough to a boundary to be worth checking.
Without a survey to go on, judge depth from how the bank falls away. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Species logged across Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass and rainbow smelt. Records at county level tell you what is around, not what is stocked here. Lac Pink responds to conditions more than to tactics.
Between January at about -12°C and July at about 20°C, the water has a wide range to work through. Cold locks it up for a good stretch each year. The open season starts with the thaw, near enough mid April. Expect the water usable from around mid April until roughly early December. Look to early summer and the first cool weeks of autumn. At Lac Pink the season follows that pattern closely.
Public sources are silent on who controls the bank. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. A car park lies 160 m away, so the walk in is short. A toilet block sits 270 m away. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Local rules can differ across the county line, so check where you stand. Some ground is open by custom rather than by right, so tread carefully. Lac Kingsmere, 4 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Treat access at Lac Pink as something to verify.
