Heavy overcast holding through the day, with light air out of the S and no real change in pressure. Fish at Lac Perreault should hold close to the weed line and any gaps in it. Little to get excited about, though the night holds a sliver of promise. Lower the pace and stay patient. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Look for Lac Perreault in Côte-Nord, Quebec. It lies 364 metres above sea level. This is a pocket water of some 6 hectares, and every part of it is reachable from the bank. Our Côte-Nord list holds plenty of bigger water. Nearest town is Forestville, 36 km off. Betsiamites follows at 37 km, then Chute-aux-Outardes at 53 km. In the same area: Lac Neris out at 1.5 km, Lac Giasson at 1.6 km, Lac Trompeur out at 3.1 km, Lac Taure at 3.2 km and Lac Reid out at 3.4 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
Depth is unmeasured here, so let the shoreline guide you. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. County-wide records name logperch. County records show what lives in the area; the local agency holds the water-by-water list. On Lac Perreault the quiet end is the one worth the extra effort.
The warmest month averages 16°C, the coldest about -16°C. Everything is compressed into the middle of the year. Ice is part of the season here, ending near early May. From about early May to around mid November, expect open water on the long-run figures. September and October fish steadily right up to the freeze. On Lac Perreault that shapes the whole year.
Public data does not answer the access question here. Nothing in the way of made access shows up nearby: no ramp, no car park, no path. Perch take small lures and worms fished near the bottom close to structure. Look for a notice board at the entrance. Some ground is open by custom rather than by right, so tread carefully. The nearest alternative is Lac Neris, 1.5 km out. Confirm before you fish Lac Perreault.
