Fresh rain topping the water up today, with a helpful ripple pushed from the SSW and no real change in pressure. The productive water at Lac Pearl will be around the weed line and any gaps in it. The day peaks in the morning. Fish confidently and change only when the bites stop. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

This water sits in Laurentides, Quebec. It sits at 475 metres above sea level. The water measures roughly 6 hectares, so nothing here is far from anything else. The town to know is Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, 5.3 km out. Further out sit Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard (6.5 km) and Val-David (9.6 km). The nearest boundary is well away, so one set of rules covers the water.
The records we hold are silent on depth, so plan to find it yourself. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Across Laurentides, recorded fish include pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass and yellow perch. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. The shape of Lac Pearl rewards a slow walk along one bank.
Climate records put July near 18°C and January near -14°C. The freeze arrives properly here and holds. Look for the thaw near late April; the fishing lifts straight after. Ice usually gives way near late April, and forms again about late November. The open run goes from the thaw to the freeze, and April through October covers most of it. Lac Pearl fishes to that pattern most years.
Whether the bank is open is not something our records settle. We find no slipway, car park or made path within a short radius, so treat access as rough. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Provincial rules still apply whatever the bank status. Rules for boats are stricter than rules for the bank in many places. For a change of water, Lac Briere is 0.6 km distant. Treat Lac Pearl as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
