Showers crossing the water today, with a light chop building from the SW and no real change in pressure. The productive water at Lac Orde will be around the seam between weed and open water. A slow day overall; the night is the best of a quiet lot. Scale down and fish slowly. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Look for Lac Orde in Côte-Nord, Quebec. It lies 204 metres above sea level. About 4 hectares of surface, which puts the far bank inside easy sight. On size it sits at the modest end of our Côte-Nord list. Port-Cartier is the closest town at 22 km. It is 334 km to Saguenay, the nearest city. Other water within reach: Lac Manjot sits 0.7 km out, Lac Finque 1.2 km off, Lac L'Enclus sits 1.4 km out, Lac Lachaume 2 km off and Lac Hure sits 2.7 km out. The nearest boundary is a fair way off.
There is no published depth for this one, so start shallow and work out. Weed, then depth: that is the order to fish a water of this kind. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Fish documented in Côte-Nord include logperch. Records at this level tell you what is in the area. Fish Lac Orde where the bottom changes rather than where it looks deep.
Temperature averages peak at 16°C in July and bottom out at -16°C in January. Long winters and short summers set the pattern. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly early May. Averages place the thaw at early May and the freeze at mid November. Early summer and early autumn carry the open-water season. Expect Lac Orde to follow that timing.
The rules here are undocumented as far as public sources go. The map shows no ramp or car park nearby, so this is a walk-in water. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Rules differ from one water to the next round here. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. Lac Manjot sits 0.7 km off and takes the overflow. For Lac Orde, the notice at the access point is the final word.
