A rainy spell sitting over the area, with a light chop building from the SSE with the glass holding level. The productive water at Lac Mo will be around the first drop-off and weed lines. Quiet conditions all day, with the night marginally better. Save the long walk for a better forecast. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.

Lac Mo falls in Côte-Nord, part of Quebec. Height above sea level is 192 metres. Around 17 hectares of surface means several distinct areas to work. The whole outline is near 3.6 km, and most of it is walkable. Ground here is low by Quebec standards. The town to know is Havre-Saint-Pierre, 37 km out. Then Maliotenam, 198 km, and Gaspé, 206 km. It sits well inside its county, with no border complications.
No depth figure appears in our records, so the bank has to tell you. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Côte-Nord records list logperch among the fish reported. County records show what lives in the area; the local agency holds the water-by-water list. Read Lac Mo before you fish it and the day goes better.
Climate normals give 15°C for July and -15°C for January. The ice season is long here and the open one short. Winter fishing happens on the ice here, with open water back around mid May. The season between ice runs from about mid May to mid November. The first weeks of open water and the last are the ones to plan for. Keep it in mind when planning a trip to Lac Mo.
Whether you may fish here is not something records settle. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. No built facilities appear in mapping around this water. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Provincial rules still apply whatever the bank status. Access can change hands, so last year's answer may not hold. Failing this one, try Lac de la Dot, 1 km away. Treat access at Lac Mo as something to verify.
