A day shaped by the wind, with a firm WSW blow with a settled glass. Fish at Lac Missu should hold close to structure within a cast of the bank. A stay-home graph, with the middle of the day as the one excuse to go. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.

Côte-Nord in Quebec is where Lac Missu sits. The bank gives way to rolling bush. About 1.08 sq km, so local knowledge or a boat saves a lot of walking. The shoreline runs about 7.7 km, so it pays to pick a stretch and stay with it. Havre-Saint-Pierre lies 179 km from the water. The big place round here is Sydney, 467 km distant. No boundary runs near, so the local rules hold throughout.
Open data we checked carries no depth for this water. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Reported across Côte-Nord: logperch. County records show the wider picture rather than this one place. Lac Missu gives up its fish to patience rather than distance.
The year swings from about -13°C in January to roughly 15°C in July. Spring and autumn carry the fishing; summer and winter test it. The freeze runs deep into the year, with break-up near early May. Climate figures give an open season running early May to late November. Reckon on open water from spring through to late autumn, with May and June the strongest. Anyone fishing Lac Missu regularly works to that calendar.
We hold no note on access for this one. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. Mapping records no facilities at all near this water. Perch take small lures and worms fished near the bottom close to structure. Bank access can be seasonal on ground like this. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. Lac Marie-Claire, 3.5 km away, makes the obvious fallback. None of that is settled for Lac Missu in what we hold.
