A grey, even sky over the water, with barely a breath of wind and no real change in pressure. Most of the action on Lac Minisadi should come off any hard bottom among the soft. If you must go, go in the night. One good spot fished well beats five fished quickly. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Lac Minisadi is an Abitibi-Témiscamingue water, Quebec side. It sits at 321 metres above sea level. At about 22 hectares, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly. The edge runs 3.0 km or so, easy to work in an afternoon. Saint-Isidore sits 62 km from the bank. The big place round here is Greater Sudbury, 203 km distant. It sits well inside its county, with no border complications.
We hold no depth figure for this one. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. Abitibi-Témiscamingue records list northern pike, yellow perch, walleye and white sucker among the fish reported. The county figures include rivers and lakes alike. Lac Minisadi fishes better once you know its edges.
Climate normals give 18°C for July and -16°C for January. Winter puts a hard lid on this one. Hard cover is dependable here; it goes around late April. Averages suggest open water from about late April through to roughly late November. June through September is the settled part of the year, with the shoulders busier for fish. Expect Lac Minisadi to follow that timing.
Nothing in our records says who may fish here. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. Nothing in the way of made access shows up nearby: no ramp, no car park, no path. A wire trace and a big bright lure handle the pike; deep water asks for a heavier spoon. Some banks are open only from a marked point. A polite question at the farm gate opens more banks than anything else. Should this one be busy, Lac des Hivernants is 1.8 km off. What applies at Lac Minisadi may have changed since it was mapped.
