You will find Lac Massia in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec. Around the bank it is mixed forest. At about 15 hectares, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly. The full circuit measures close to 2.0 km on foot. For supplies, Rouyn-Noranda is 24 km out. Kirkland Lake is 52 km away, with Englehart at 56 km. The nearest boundary is well away, so one set of rules covers the water.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Records held for Abitibi-Témiscamingue cover northern pike, yellow perch and walleye. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. Lac Massia gives up its fish to patience rather than distance.
