Heavy overcast holding through the day, with a kind SSW breeze on the water and pressure sitting still. Give windblown banks where food collects the first hour at Lac Immer. Little to get excited about, though the middle of the day holds a sliver of promise. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water.

Set in Outaouais, Lac Immer is a Quebec water. Height above sea level is 408 metres. It covers about 2 hectares, so this is small water you can walk round in under an hour. Most waters listed here for Outaouais are larger. Saint-Boniface is the closest place, 61 km off. For a city, Gatineau is 176 km off. No boundary runs near, so the local rules hold throughout.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. Species logged across Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. County records show what lives in the area; the local agency holds the water-by-water list. Anyone new to Lac Immer should walk it once before setting up.
Long-term averages put July at about 17°C and January near -17°C. A solid cap is the normal state through winter. Ice fishing carries the winter, and the water opens about early May. On the long-run averages the water opens up around early May and starts locking again about late November. Right after break-up, and again as the nights sharpen, is when to go. Lac Immer runs to that rhythm year in and year out.
No public source sets out the position on this bank. There is no recorded infrastructure here; expect to find your own way in. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Check whether a boat is allowed before you tow one. Rules for boats are stricter than rules for the bank in many places. If the gate is shut, Lac Libaros at 0.6 km is the nearest alternative. None of that is settled for Lac Immer in what we hold.
