Bands of rain crossing through the day, with a proper ripple driven from the S with a settled glass. On Lac Greenland, work bays that hold the day's warmth first. A hard day on paper; the morning edges the rest. Go lighter and slower than usual. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Set in Côte-Nord, Lac Greenland is a Quebec water. Pine and birch runs right down to the water. Around 10 hectares of surface means several distinct areas to work. The bank runs about 2.4 km all the way round, so one visit can cover most of it. It lies lower than most water we list in Quebec. Saint-Augustin is the closest town at 65 km. St. John's sits 566 km out, and it is the nearest city worth the name. This one is safely inside the county line.
No published figure covers depth, so learn it as you fish. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Survey and observation records for Côte-Nord include logperch. Species recorded across the county may be limited to a few waters. Work Lac Greenland in sections rather than trying to cover it.
Averages move between -13°C in January and 14°C in August. Fishing here follows the temperature more than the calendar. After mid May the shallows warm and the fish move up. On the long-run averages the water opens up around mid May and starts locking again about late November. The shoulder weeks of the open season are the productive ones. Plan around that when you fish Lac Greenland.
Public data does not answer the access question here. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. No made access appears within a short radius, so plan to park on a verge and walk. Perch take small lures and worms fished near the bottom close to structure. Provincial rules still apply whatever the bank status. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. For a change of water, Lac Deep Cove is 1.7 km distant. None of that is settled for Lac Greenland in what we hold.
