A rainy spell sitting over the area, with barely a breath of wind and no real change in pressure. Whatever swims in Lac Ersa should be near the margins and the shelf beyond them. The strongest window is the night. Push the good hours hard and rest through the dead ones. Falling temperatures are switching fish back on.

You will find Lac Ersa in Laurentides, Quebec. This is mixed forest ground. Small at around 3 hectares: two anglers spread out cover most of it. It is one of the smaller waters we list in Laurentides. Mont-Tremblant lies 17 km from the water. It is 93 km to Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne, the nearest city. No county line comes close, which keeps the paperwork simple.
Without a survey to go on, judge depth from how the bank falls away. Weed, then depth: that is the order to fish a water of this kind. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Laurentides records list pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch and brook trout among the fish reported. These are county-wide records, so not all of them will be in this water. Read Lac Ersa for ten minutes before the first cast goes out.
Climate normals give 17°C for July and -15°C for January. Hard water is a season in its own right here. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly late April. Open water usually runs from late April until about late November. Look to early summer and the first cool weeks of autumn. Lac Ersa fishes to that pattern most years.
Access is not recorded for this water. Recorded parking is 940 m off, far enough to travel light. A campsite is mapped about 1.1 km away, which makes an early start easier. There are toilets mapped about 590 m away. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Parking is often the real limit rather than the bank itself. Keep proof of licence with you rather than in the car. Failing this one, try Lac aux Beans, 0.3 km away. None of that is settled for Lac Ersa in what we hold.
