Showers crossing the water today, with a light chop building from the S with a settled glass. Most of the action on Lac du Till should come off points where shallow meets deep. Quiet conditions all day, with the morning marginally better. Quiet tactics only; the fish will not chase today.

Lac du Till falls in Côte-Nord, part of Quebec. What surrounds it is boreal forest. With some 36 hectares of water, there is room for a boat but no need of one. Shoreline comes to about 3.8 km, small enough to learn in a day. Compared with other Quebec water on our list, it sits high. Supplies mean a trip to Port-Cartier, 101 km off. The big place round here is Saguenay, 330 km distant. It sits well inside the county, so one set of rules covers it.
No figure exists for depth, so let the water show you. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. Records held for Côte-Nord cover logperch. The county figures include rivers and lakes alike. At Lac du Till the water rewards a slow, careful approach.
Seasonal averages run from -20°C in January up to 14°C in July. Open water is the exception rather than the rule here. Hard water holds through the cold months, breaking up near mid May. Averages place the thaw at mid May and the freeze at early November. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. Lac du Till fishes to that pattern most years.
No public source sets out the position on this bank. This is a natural basin, not a dammed one. No car park, ramp or path is recorded within easy reach of the shore. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Bank access can be seasonal on ground like this. Some ground is open by custom rather than by right, so tread carefully. Lac Hamecon at 2.3 km is the sensible second choice. Signs at Lac du Till carry more weight than any list.
