Wet weather working through today, with an easy breeze from the S and pressure sitting still. Most of the action on Lac des Iles should come off reed fringes and open pockets. One clear peak today: the night. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Depth went unrecorded, which puts the reading back on you. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Across Outaouais, recorded fish include pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. Lac des Iles repays a walk before the first cast.
Between January at about -13°C and July at about 19°C, the water has a wide range to work through. Hard water is a season in its own right here. Firm cover through the cold months, then open water from late April. Expect the water usable from around late April until roughly early December. Just after the ice goes and just before it returns, the fishing lifts. Plan any trip to Lac des Iles around it.
Access is not recorded for this water. You will be walking about 1.1 km from the nearest car park. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Local rules can differ across the county line, so check where you stand. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. For a change of water, Petit lac Desormeaux is 1 km distant. For Lac des Iles in particular, ask before you travel.
