Cloud from horizon to horizon today, with flat calm through the day and pressure going nowhere. Activity on Lac Celine should centre on sheltered bays and points. A slow day overall; the night is the best of a quiet lot. Scale down and fish slowly. The pre-winter feed makes autumn days generous.

Lac Celine is set in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec. The bank is 333 metres above sea level. Nearest town is Mattawa, 23 km off. Then Notre-Dame-du-Lac, 57 km, and Témiscaming, 58 km. Within a short run: Lac de la Caste 1 km, Lac Urbain 1.4 km away, Lac Cresus 1.4 km, Lac Freville 1.4 km away and Lac Romeo 2.4 km. Rules here are straightforward: one set of provincial rules.
Our records hold no depth for this water. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Public occurrence data for Abitibi-Témiscamingue names northern pike, yellow perch, walleye, white sucker and brown bullhead. Take it as the county picture rather than a promise for this water. On Lac Celine the obvious spot is not always the productive one.
Climate records put July near 18°C and January near -14°C. A full turn of seasons, with the strongest sport on either side of summer. Firm cover through the cold months, then open water from late April. The season between ice runs from about late April to late November. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. On Lac Celine the same rules apply, with local timing.
The access position is unclear from public sources. We find no slipway, car park or made path within a short radius, so treat access as rough. A wire trace and a big bright lure handle the pike; deep water asks for a heavier spoon. Parking is often the real limit rather than the bank itself. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. Should this one be busy, Lac de la Caste is 1 km off. For Lac Celine in particular, ask before you travel.
