  The Saguenay/Lac-Saint-Jean end of Quebec holds Lac Canard. Elevation runs to 744 metres. At about 15 hectares, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly. The whole outline is near 2.7 km, and most of it is walkable. It is high ground by Quebec standards. Saint-Fulgence is the closest place, 39 km off. After that come Saint-Honoré at 46 km and La Baie at 47 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
