Clear overhead with good moonlight, with a faint WNW drift and pressure going nowhere. Give inflow corners and shaded margins the first hour at Lac Bisby. Little to get excited about, though the evening holds a sliver of promise. One good spot fished well beats five fished quickly. The pre-winter feed makes autumn days generous.

Lac Bisby is a Chaudière-Appalaches water, in Quebec. Around the bank it is lake country bush. The water covers some 22 hectares, so pick a bank rather than trying to cover it all. Roughly 2.0 km of bank means you can walk to a fresh area when one goes quiet. You are 4.8 km from Saint-Joseph-de-Coleraine. After that come Disraeli at 6.9 km and Thetford-Mines at 16 km. There is no boundary nearby to worry about.
Our records carry no depth, so judge it from the bank. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Species logged across Chaudière-Appalaches include lake sturgeon, Atlantic sturgeon, longnose sucker, sauger and channel catfish. At least one recorded species is protected in parts of its range; read the local rules before targeting anything. The shape of Lac Bisby decides where the fish sit.
Long-term averages put July at about 18°C and January near -12°C. A hard winter is normal, and the thaw brings a strong few weeks. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly late April. Averages place the thaw at late April and the freeze at late November. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. Expect Lac Bisby to follow that timing.
Whether you may fish here is not something records settle. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. No built facilities appear in mapping around this water. Walleye come to jigs worked slow near bottom, and to trolled crankbaits along the drops at dusk. Local rules can differ across the county line, so check where you stand. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. Lac de l'Argile at 2.4 km is the sensible second choice. Rules at Lac Bisby are worth checking on the day.
