Lac Armand belongs to Lanaudière, Quebec. The ground around here is lake country bush. Surface area runs to about 3 hectares — small enough to read in one session. Most waters listed here for Lanaudière are larger. Supplies mean a trip to Chertsey, 14 km off. Sainte-Béatrix lies 16 km off, Rawdon another 18 km. No county line comes close, which keeps the paperwork simple.
Depth here is unknown, so count the lead down before committing. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. County-wide records name pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, rock bass and brook trout. The county figures include rivers and lakes alike. At Lac Armand the first feature you find is worth twenty minutes.
Expect July to average close to 18°C, with January the cold end at about -14°C. The season turns properly here, and fish follow it closely. Once it clears, about late April, the fishing comes on quickly. The lid tends to go about late April and return around late November. Late spring and early autumn carry the year between them. It holds true on Lac Armand more years than not.
Access status is simply unknown for this water. Nothing in the way of made access shows up nearby: no ramp, no car park, no path. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Read any posted signs at the access point rather than assuming. Close seasons apply to some species and not others. If the gate is shut, Lac Roger at 0.4 km is the nearest alternative. None of that is settled for Lac Armand in what we hold.
